SC126 Red Rose

Here is my SC126 card. This set hasn't been very popular but I really like it:)
I used a red marker to make the dots. I stamped off the solid rose stamp so it would be lighter, the outline stamp is just straight red ink.

Stamps: Wild Rose, Floral
Paper: Red, Black, White
Ink: Red, Black, Artichoke
Accessories: oval punch, ribbon, red marker

WT114 Yo-Yo Yellow What's That??

Here's my card for the WT114 on SCS Yo-Yo Yellow. This was a really tough one for me mainly because I don't like the Bold Brights:) I colored this with Stampin Pastels. This is dedicated to my friend Michele who doesn't like chalk! I hope this will get her to try them again:)
Have a great day!

Here's my SC125 Card

Good Morning! Today's sketch is really easy:) This card came together really fast.I used chalk to color the butterfly. I used the square punch for the opening, I punched one full square then punched it again part way. For the Paisley background I used a dirty brayer that had Cranberry ink on it ran it on my Marigold ink pad to get the darker color I wanted. My Marigold pad was already yucky from a stamp camp!

Stamps: Natural Beauty, Paisley
Paper: Marigold, Black, Cranberry, Vanilla

Have a great day!

For the Hello Bing Contest

Hi There! While cruising some blogs today I came across a contest you can see it here
I didn't have time to do the Color Challenge on SCS this morning so I thought I would use those colors. Here is what I came up with:)

I stamped the Floral background using VersaMark on Old olive CS. I layered Celery, Eggplant and Shimmery White Card Stock. I stamped the blossom from Artfully Asian in Black StazOn. I colored it with Eggplant and Old Olive Ink with blender pens. I used crystals for the flower centers and due to the light hitting them they appear orange but looking at the card they are clear until the light bounces off them. The sentiment is an Anna Griffin stamp. I used a light grey colored pencil to add the shading around the leaves and blossoms

TLC117 Harmony

Good Morning! Today I did the challenge at SCS crayon resist.

I used Royal Purple StazON for the floral background and I used a white colored pencil for the resist. The picture is terrible but I really like the way it came out.
The square eggplant layer and the scallop are both on pop dots. I sponged the edges lightly

Stamps: Happy Harmony, Floral, Linen
Paper: Glossy White, Eggplant, Celery, Bashful
Ink: Pink Passion, Celery, Brocade, Marigold, Royal Purple StazON

Bye Natural Beauty

Happy Sunday! I'm still very sad about some of my favorite sets retiring, so I decided to show them some love:)For this card I stamped the mustard layer with paisley using versa mark. I stamped the two vanilla pieces with mustard ink, the long piece was stamped off first to make it a shade lighter than the square piece. The leaf is colored with stampin pastels, the flowers I colored with bashful blue ink and then with a blender pen and cool carribean ink I went over it again. I love bashful and cool together on flowers. I used my mat pack to do the faux stitching down the left side. I smeared choc chip ink on the rough edge of the torn cool piece. Copper brads finish it off.
Have a wonderful Sunday!

I made this card for LSC116

This was harder than I first thought. There were a lot of things we couldn't use including large background stamps. If you haven't checked it out you can see it here since I didn't want to break any rules I used very little on this card but I do like the end result.
I used ink and blender pens to color the flower, I cut the flower out and used only part of it. The flower is stamped on shimmery white cards stock

Stamps: Natural Beauty, Itty Bitty, Sentiment by Paperinspirations
Paper: Thyme, Cranberry, Vanilla
Ink: Black, Cranberry, Thyme, Artichoke

I hope you are having a great day!!

Altered Pretzel Jug

I love peanutbutter filled pretzels and they come in this great jug. Last year I started keeping them because I knew I could cover them and use them. These are perfect for stamping friends because you can fill them with all kinds of cool stuff. This is one I did using a scrappin' kit. The picture is busy looking because I wanted to show you the empty jug as well as the lid. I used this to adhere the paper to the jug if you don't own one you should! I love mine, it sticks like the red tape. It's 2 inches wide so it covers large areas fast!

CC113 Birthday Boots

I've made this card before in different colors for a guy. I don't have many guy stamps so it was a great way to use what I have, using more earthy colors really makes it nice for a guy. Today I used the colors from the challenge Marigold, Cool, and Teal.
To creat the background I stamped Print Pattern with teal first and then off set it a bit and stamped it again with versamark, I then stamped the Doodle That in craft white.
I hope your having a great day!
I'm glad you stopped by:)

For A Teacher

I stamped the blossoms on white tissue, rough cut around it and adhered with modgepodge. I love making these I always have a ton of buckets on hand.
Inside I put some candy, coffee, tea, and cider.

If you click on the picture to see it larger it looks like the tissue cutout really shows but IRL you can barely see it I promise!:)

Stamps: Blossoms Abound
Paper: tissue
Ink: artichoke, mellow, eggplant

Fun Journal

This is a donation for a auction for teacher's week. I always have a hard time with donations because you really don't know if the person who wins it will ever use it so I tend to go simple. To all us stampers this is really boring but to the average none crafter it's probably cute! KWIM?

I used the friends & flowers hostess scrappin kit for this gift set. The only stamps are Warmest Regards, Small Sayings.

Enjoy the rest of your day!

WT111 Wonderful Wings

I wish this picture was better but it is what it is. I stamped the butterflies on the mellow moss card stock with black ink. I colored the butterflies with markers and prisma colored pencils. I cut my card to 5.25 square and cut my acetate 5.5 x11. I scored the acetate at 5.5 to make the square card the cardstock is behind the acetate card and attached with the ribbon. I used my cropadile to punch the holes watch your eyes one of the punches hit me in my eye Yikes!!! I stamped thinking of you on the front of the acetate in black.

There's a great coloring tutorial here

Thanks for stopping bye!
Have a great day:)

I've been a stay at home mom for 24 years. Both of our daughters are grown.
I married right after High School. My husband is retired Air Force he served 27 yrs. Later this year we will be celebrating 25 yrs. of marriage I'm so looking forward to 25 more!

For my 40th B-day we went to bike week in Myrtle Beach,SC. We met up with some online friends for the first time and let me tell ya, it was one week of partying!!

I love to cook and bake almost as much as stamping. For years I've been called the "Black Martha Stewart" without the attitude or fat bank account and I've never been to jail!! 2 weeks after buying this house we threw a barbeque for 40+ people. The house was all unpacked, everything in it's place and the food was awesome!!!

We have NO pets

Jazz Music gives me a migraine.

I don't like to type!! but I can talk your ears off on the phone!

I love chocolate and ice cream, my all time favorite SU! card stock is............Chocolate Chip of course

So there you have it, a little about me.
I will post a card soon, thanks for stopping by:)
