FLLC Glass Candle Holders & How To ( Reloaded)
*ETA* For some reason this post wasn't showing the pictures. I deleted it and reposted it I hope it works now:) Sorry for the double post for those who are google reader.
Thanks for stopping by!
Dee
Hi there! Yesterday I stamped on a mug and thought to myself this background would be so cool on glass. So I ran to Walmart and found these cute glass candle holders the triangle one was .97 cents the rounded square one was $1.23. I used stazon to stamp the background. I had a lot of questions and emails asking how I stamped on the mug so I took a picture to show you. I hope that helps! Just remember to apply a lot of pressure so the ink makes good contact. If you are using craft ink the stamp will slide and will get muddy looking if you press to hard. With the Stazon ink on the glass you need to work super fast because the ink dries fast. I cleaned my stamp with hot water and soap between stamping each side.
You can find this awesome Damask background stamp at Flourishes LLC

WT153 FLLC Damask Mug
Hi there! Today I wanted to try this idea I had for the new Damask background stamp from FLLC. I inked up the stamp with craft white ink since it's not mounted it's a clear stamp I laid it on the mug and slowly applied pressure. The design goes right up to the handle on either side. I used a sponge and white craft ink to sponge the top and bottom edge. I also sponged the handle. Fill it with your favorite treat. This is for decorative uses only!! I have no idea if you can wash it. I do know you can dust it:)

New KSS Stamps & Leslie's Challenge?
Hi there! Yesterday was a fun mail day. I had several new stamps waiting to be inked up and loved:) I was so excited to play with the new 3-Step Adornment set from Kitchen Sink Stamps.
Leslie made the most gorgeous card creating a beautiful background from scratch, you know paper, ink and stamps. Leslie asked if anyone would be interested in doing that type thing as a challenge. I got so excited and made this journal. I used vanilla cardstock and stamped the French Script in black. I used one of the stamps from Looks Like Spring and Wonderful Wings. I stamped all kinds of smaller stamps in Choc. Chip, Bravo,Saffron. For the tassel I used Saffron, Cranberry and Bravo. I cut it out and attached it with foam tape. Then I disstress the heck out it using several different disstress inks. Finally I tore a piece of paper and sponged along the torn edge to make the slight pattern. This was a blast to make I hope you like it!
Have a great day:)

Fantasy Floral Surprise! Are U Ready? ( Tutorial)
Hi there! What a exciting day Flourishes LLC will be releasing it's first background stamps! I have a little sneak peek for you as well as a new use for the large flower in the Fantasy Floral Garden Set. Are you ready?
1. Start by stamping the large flower with Jet Black Stazon ink (you will need four flowers).
2. Cut,trim and color the flowers as shown. I used Stampin' Up! Marker's ( Mellow Moss, Cameo Coral). I used a black sharpie to go around the edges and to make the tips darker.
3. Punch a circle out of black cardstock using the 1-1/4" punch. ( Stampin' Up! )
4. Arrange the four flowers as shown and adhere to the black circle. * See the finished card below for the placement of the flowers* Sorry I forgot to put it in the picture!
5. Use a decorative brad for the center.
The background for this card was made using the " New" Positive and Negative Damask Background stamps from Flourishes LLC. I Just love these backgrounds! I softened the edges with a sponge and cameo ink. So what did the finished card look like?
There's more! the sentiment is new also. I love the font and the fact it's larger than all other Flourishes words! Can you stand it? I'm trying hard to keep it together at this point to show you the compianion gable box I made with the card to match.
Now adjust your eyes...a different color and design same background stamp! for this card. I stamped both the positive and negative and punched them using the 1-1/4 square punch for the background. Layered on black cardstock.
Thank you so much for stopping by!

CC151
Hi there, this card was made for the color challenge on SCS. I just recieved this awesome set of stamps made by Inkadinkado. We don't have a store here that carries these stamps so I ask my design team buddies if they had one. Jan was so sweet to get it for me! Thank you so much.
The colors today are Going Gray, Basic Gray, and Yo Yo yellow. I used Sahara Sand, Going Gray, Eggplant, and Black ink. I really didn't think I'd like these colors but I think they worked out nicely. The sentiment is Kitchen Sink Stamps
Have a great day!

Some Candy!! & Tips on Stamping on Dark Paper
I'm loving this 3-Step Rose Set!! I know you will too:)
So many of you had questions about my WT 150 card so I thought it would be fun to have the 3-Step Rose set as blog candy!!! Maria owner of Kitchen Sink Stamps will mail the winner a brand new set. Thanks so much Maria!!
To enter all you have to do is leave a comment on this post telling me what type flower you'd like made into a stamp 3-Step Kitchen Sink Style? One winner will be drawn using random org. Jan 31st. The winner needs to email me your address so Maria can ship it to you. If the winner has not claimed the set by Feb 2nd on Feb 3rd I will draw a new name. I'm excited to see your flower ideas. Good luck everyone!!
I hope this answers the questions I've gotten. I took a few pictures so you can see what your card should look like as you go. I find the best way to apply the paint is with a foam brush. Really work the paint into the brush and wipe off any excess paint on paper towels. Apply the paint to stamp ( Step 1 ) stamp it onto your dark colored card stock I used Choc Chip. Clean off your stamp with a wet towel and let the image dry completely. Since these stamps are on acrylic blocks it's easy to stamp the image again. Repeat Step 1. Clean stamps. Let dry completely. The first picture shows you while the paint is still wet it is very white but as it dries it lightens. The next three pictures show you how it looks as you add the steps. The finished card can be seen here
This is really fun to do. I hope you will try it. If you do please post a link to your card. I would love to see them. Feel free to email me if you have more questions.
Thanks for stopping by:)

Hi there! I decided to try the limited supply challenge on SCS today. I bought this set from PTI awhile ago and really didn't know what to do with it once I bought it:) I'm sure you've done that before! When I saw the challenge I knew I had to use this set. The card stock is Bravo and Kraft. I used Bravo and Artichoke ink. I love to stamp soild images over the floral background so that's what I did here.
Have a great day!
Thanks for stopping by:)

KSS U R My Love
Good Morning! I made this Gate Fold Pop Up card using stamps from Kitchen Sink Stamps. (Playful Alphabet, Never a Loss 4 Words, Thanks with Style.) The larger hearts are made using my Cricut. The letter "Y" has stars and stripes I covered the stars with mini heart brads. I used my scor- pal to make the folds.
