FLLC Hidden Kiss

Good Morning! Well after a much needed stampin break my mojo is back:) I'm just thrilled with the out come of this project. I stamped the heart and embossed it with silver. I did DTP using chalk ink. I cut the heart out and used a black sharpie around the edges. I wanted a little pocket to hold a couple of Hershey Kisses so I messed around with the idea until I came up with this. The words are stamped on Shrinky Dink using Black stazon. The words in the set are much larger. This set is from Flourishes LLC it's called Lace Heart. I took a couple of pictures to show you what the heart looked like before putting it on my card. I stamped the tissue using the reindeer from Flourished Christmas. I placed one Hershey Kiss inside:)

More Gifts

Good Morning! Things are slowly getting back to normal here. Although I haven't stamped in days! I think I'm all stamped out:)I have a few more gifts to share. The card totes using Kitchen Sink 3 Step Daisy were made for my mom and sister. Each tote holds 6-8 cards with envelopes. I know some of you maybe wondering if I threw out all my other stamps since this set is the one you have seen the most. This was the set I decided to use for most of my stamped gifts this year. The tin set has Fireside, cookies, and some chocolate. I covered the tin in red cardstock and used puff paint on the foam. The lid of the tin has the same BG Figgy paper as the cookies. I really thing this is a cute set. The stamp set used is SU! Like it a Latte.

Another Gift Using Toile Blossoms

Hi There! I've had this idea for this box for months, I've colored hundreds of images trying to get the color right. I refused to give up!! Yippee I did it! I'm so excited I'm really happy with the results. I used shimmery white cardstock I love that stuff. I did the coloring with ink pads and blender pens. Can you believe to get the color on the leaves right I used Old Olive, Garden Green and on the outer edge Caramel. I have 2 pictures to share. There's some kind of strange glare on the close up the shading is soft and pretty IRL :) I hope everyone is ready for Christmas!! This will be my last post until after Christmas. Have a Wonderful Holiday! Be safe.

From My Kitchen to Yours!!!

Hi there! I found these recipe holders over a year ago at Target. I bought a bunch of them and decided after making one using dp it was way to much work! Fast forward to Christmas 2007 and my Kitchen Sink Stamps and WOOHOO!! I've been cranking these out like nobody's business:) So here is one set I made for my neighbor who just love's everything I cook LOL. She flipped when I gave this to her along with some of my favorite recipes. I stamped this directly on the box. I stuck my large acrylic block inside the box and added cardstock on top of the block until the box was firm. It stamped up like a dream:) I have so many gifts to show you but I want to wait until each person has recieved it,btw I still have stuff to mail so who knows it maybe next year before you see them all:) sad but true.
I hope you are getting all your stampin finished. If not maybe this will inspire you to make a recipe holder with matching cards for someone on your list.
Have a great day!

Sharon's no layer challenge & LSC146

Good Morning! Sharon posted a challenge on her blog to make no layer cards. This has always been a challenge for me so I thought I would give it a shot. Lucky for me my new stamp set Lace Hearts arrived yesterday! The card is pretty basic no layers, white card base. Black and red ink only. The scallop along the bottom was made using the heart in the set. I only inked part of the top of the heart. For the limited supply challenge on SCS you could use layers but had to use white as your card base. So this works for that as well.

KS Fireside Tins

Good Morning! I wanted to share with you a great recipe and my super simple packaging idea. Inside the tin I made my special winter mix called Fireside.

Here's the recipe you will love this:)
2 cups instant hot chocolate
2 cups coffee creamer
1 cup instant coffee
1/2 tsp cinnamon
1/2 tsp nutmeg

Mix well. Store in airtight container or glass jar. Add 2 tablespoons of mix ( or to taste) to 6-8 oz of hot water. Stir and enjoy!

I also put a few chocolate dipped candy cane sticks and some assorted chocolate candy. I used my cuttlebug snowflake embossing folder for the top of the tin and wrapped it up in cellophane. I made a tag using Playful Christmas stamp set from Kitchen Sink Stamps
On the back of the tag I put the recipe:)
Have a great day!

CPS42 Fantasy Floral

Good Morning! Well I'm so excited! I had happy mail my Flourishes stamps arrived. This is the card I made for the CPS42 featuring Fantasy Floral Garden by Flourishes LLC. I wanted this to look aged so I used distress ink while the stamped images were still wet so it would smear. I also shadow stamped the images. I used a scallop punch and overlaped the artichoke ones so my main image would stand out. I apologize for the bad photo the sheer ribbon placed on the very edge made this hard to crop.

KS CC143

Good Morning! I used the snowflake embossing folder on the celery card stock. I layered that on old olive. I stamped the trees from Playful Christmas made by Kitchen Sink Stamps in celery and old olive. I backed part of the cut out tree with black cardstock so it would pop. I used small rhinestones for the tree topper.

Flourished Christmas CPS42

Good Morning! Flourishes will be the feature company on the CPS blog this week. The sketch is wonderful! The featured stamp set is Fantasy Floral I don't have it yet but I really wanted to play:) So I pulled out my Flourished Christmas set and decided I would make a black and white Christmas card. The large panel uses the antlers only from the reindeer. I used tape to mask off the face and body of the reindeer and just repeated the process until I was happy with the result. If you have this set you really should try this I love the way it turned out, I hope you do to.
I know it seems I've been MIA but I've been working hard making gifts and cards for Christmas. You've seen most of what I've been making. I hope to have some new things to share with you in the next few days.

Gift Bag

Good Morning! Well I've been a very busy girl:) Most of which I can't show you yet. I'm sure you remember the gable box and Christmas card I made earlier. This is the quick and easy gift bag I made to put all my yummy treats in. This time I cut a sheet of WW cardstock in half. I stamped all the half sheets with the words first. I then stamped all of the one step stamps on each half sheet of cardstock repeat with step two and three. For the berries I only did step one and two. By stamping all your half sheets with each step it makes this project super fast and easy. It would take forever to make this if you completed each holly one at a time:)I found the gift bags at Hobby Lobby 2 for a dollar:)You can purchase the 3-Step Holly and Mistletoe set from Maria at Kitchen Sink Stamps
Supplies used:
Gift Bag
Stamps: Holly And Mistletoe (Kitchen Sink Stamps), One Of The Joys by (Stampabilities), Itty Bitty Background (SU!)
Cardstock: Whisper White
Ink: Mellow, Garden Green, Hunter, Saffron, Real Red, Black
Enjoy the day!

And the WINNER IS............& SC149 Holly Gift

Good Morning! The Winner is.................. Lucky #2
******* Jan Scholl*********** Come on down!!! Please email me so I can get your gift certificate to you!! You're gonna love shopping at Jacksonbelle's store:)
Here's what Jan said.

Jan Scholl said...
Since I really dont do the whole family gift thing at Christmas, my favorite hand made thing to do is get out my home printed checks (I have made my own for 15 years now), fill them in by hand and then deliver them to my favorite charities the day after Christmas. I write them out on December 25 and put them in envelopes and stamp them up pretty.

November 1, 2007 1:18 AM

Thank you all for the great gift idea's!!! They're wonderful. I'll be sharing mine with you in the next few days.

Here's my card for today's SC 149 this is a bit out of my comfort zone but I had some leftover stamped paper from the cards I made on friday. It was just to pretty to trash but really not big enough for a card. Then I remembered I'd bought a tag punch a few years back and my card was born!! I hope it looks like a gift to you lol. The strip going across the middle of the card is backgrounds and borders from Kitchen Sink Stamps. I stamped it on WW with Garden Green ink. Don't you love it?
Stamps: Mistletoe and Holly , Backgrounds and Borders Kitchen Sink Stamps,
Paper: non SU! green and red, WW
Ink: Mellow, Artichoke, Garden Green, Real Red Cranberry, Saffron
Accessories: tag punch, jewels, ribbon, cord
Have a great day!!
