Sharon's no layer challenge & LSC146

Good Morning! Sharon posted a challenge on her blog to make no layer cards. This has always been a challenge for me so I thought I would give it a shot. Lucky for me my new stamp set Lace Hearts arrived yesterday! The card is pretty basic no layers, white card base. Black and red ink only. The scallop along the bottom was made using the heart in the set. I only inked part of the top of the heart. For the limited supply challenge on SCS you could use layers but had to use white as your card base. So this works for that as well.
Thanks for stopping by!
Dee

Oh, my, Dee! This is so awesome! The heart makes a fabulous scalloped border--what great thinking! I wouldn't even think about this being a no layer card. The ribbon and heart charm really finish it off beautifully. Gorgeous!

I love your card Dee! Making a card without any layers is very difficult and yours is perfect. The heart charm is the cutest, I love it.
