Hi there! I hope you're having a great weekend. I've spent most of it trying to clean my stamp room. I haven't stamped in a few days so I wanted to do the challenge today. I messed up the placement of Merry Christmas I should have cut it even with the other layers. Gotta love it when your tape actually sticks completely the first time:) Anyway back to cleaning
Enjoy the day!

Some Exciting News!!!!!!!!
Good Morning! This week has started out great, I recieved a email from Maria over at Kitchen Sink Stamps inviting me to be on the Visiting Kitchen Crew!!!!!!! Can you imagine my excitement? It took me less than a minute to say yes! I love her stamps and can't wait for more releases. This week Craft Critique will have feature stories and reviews of the stamps be sure to check it out. More great news Kitchen Sink Stamps has announced it's brand new Kitchen Crew and Visiting Crew you can see all the Crew members on my side bar or look here. I'm thrilled to be a guest in the Kitchen with all these talented stampers. So much fun to come!
Today's project uses the Kitchen Sink 3-Step Daisy set that I just love. I made the tote using my awesome friend Leslie's tutorial that you can see here. Leslie used designer paper on her tutorial. I stamped my WW card stock first with the Daisy set and then cut and scored the tote. You may have noticed the colors I used are the same as my other gift set that's because I still had everything out and I love the color combo so much I decided to make another set. There are 4 cards with matching envelopes that fit inside the tote you can see the 2 styles of cards in the picture.
You can win a free stamp set from Kitchen Sink Stamps follow this link to read how.
Have a great day, and thanks for stopping by!

2007 Quick & Easy Christmas Card
Hi there! Every year around this time I struggle to design my Christmas cards for people I'm not sure will appreciate a handmade card. I want to make all my cards but can't see putting a lot of time and money into them. I don't want to mail out junk either! I usually pick images that don't need to be colored because that takes time. Here is one I really like and it will be a breeze to mass produce. I hope this simple card will inspire some of you to make all your Christmas cards this year not just the WOW one's for special friends and family. If you have a Qucik & Easy Christmas card you would like to share please leave a link in the comments.

For WT136 Flourish Reindeer
Hi there! I wasn't going to do today's challenge until I thought about trying this idea I had in my head. I love it so far. I'm afraid to stamp the sentiment or punch a hole for brads, faux stitching is totally out of the question lol. My history is when I color or create something I love and try to add to it with any of the techniques I just mentioned, something horrible happens! I perfect example would be my stamp won't be straight leaving my masterpiece with crooked words!!!! I really wish I could share all the steps I did to make this but to be honest it's a blur. I do know the reindeer was done using the pencil over technique. I stamped it in Black stazon right on top of the trees which were stamped on dp using artichoke and hunter ink. I went over the reindeer with barely banana marker let it dry and then colored it with prismacolor pencils.
Stamps: Flourishes Christmas, Lovely As A Tree
Paper: Dp, Black
Ink: Hunter, Artichoke, Stazon Black, Craft White, B Banana Marker
Accessories: Prismacolor Pencils, Wood Frame
Techniques: Pencil Over

Beate's WSC23 & Lindsey's Inka Contest
Hi there! I'm so excited Beate has a great sketch challenge this weekend you can see it here Lindsey has a Inkadinkado Card Contest going on you can see it here
With so much inspiration how could I pass these up? My stamp is made by Inkadinkado. I colored the hummingbird after I googled hummingbirds and saw one I liked, the one I saw had a black head and black tail but the body really was Old Olive and NQN. So I took it from there and this is what I came up with. I used chalk on Natural cardstock to color the image. The clouds are made using chalk and a cloud stencil.
Card Supplies
Stamps: Hummingbird ( Inkadinkado)
Paper: NQN,Natural White, BG Blush
Ink: Black
Accessories: Stampin Pastels
*ETA Here's a link to my coloring with pastels tutorial I made back in April

Thank You Tins
So far the tin above is my favorite out of the three. Which one is your favorite?
Hi there! So I've been busy making thank you gifts. These are really fast to make because I used designer paper around the nuggets. I used part of the Artfully Asian flower on the tag. I colored it with markers. I love the font on "a little something for you" stamp made by stampabilities. The dp is cut 1 inch wide x 3 inches long, I used a glue stick on one end and wrapped it around the nugget.
TGIF!

Kitchen Sink Stamps are here!
Good Morning, I had happy mail on Saturday my new Kitchen Sink Stamps came. I just couldn't wait to play:) This is the first card I made using the 3-step daisy set. You can find it here Maria is wonderful to work with. It's a new company but I have a feeling a lot of exciting cutting edge stamps will be produced with this company and I'm excited! As you all know I love anything floral when I saw this set I knew it was perfect for me. To make this card I stamped the large and small flowers using More Mustard, and Pumpkin Pie ink. I stamped the 1st step flower off once with Mustard. The second step I used the mustard without stamping off. The third step I used the pumpkin. For the leaf I used Artichoke stamped off for the first step. I used Artichoke straight from the pad for the second step. I used a small strip of daisyd's dp along the bottom and again on the flap of the matching envelope.
I hope you're having a great day!
